The Trucking Job
That Brings You Home

Drive the mid-Atlantic corridor. Sleep in your own bed most nights. Choose benefits that actually fit your family. Ironbound Freight was built for drivers who are done choosing between a paycheck and a life.

Why We Built This Company

Trucking Has a Culture Problem.
We’re Fixing It.

Driver turnover in trucking sits above 90% annually at most carriers. Not because the pay is bad — because the industry treats drivers as numbers. Missed birthdays. Surprise overnights. Benefits nobody chose for themselves. A dispatcher who doesn’t know your name.

Ironbound Freight was started to prove that’s not how it has to work. We run regional dedicated lanes in the Baltimore–Philadelphia corridor — which means most of our drivers are home most nights. We’re honest with you about what we can and can’t offer. And we give you a real say in how your compensation is structured.

We’re a young company. What we lack in size, we make up for in how we treat you.

The Ironbound Difference

Four Promises We
Build Everything Around

01

Home Most Nights — By Design

Our regional lanes in the MD–PA–VA–DE corridor are built so you’re home most nights. Not as a favor — as the operating model. We don’t promise home time and then walk it back at dispatch. The route structure protects it.

02

Scheduling With Your Input

You’ll have a say in which lanes and start times work for your family. Need to be at a school event on a Thursday? That’s a conversation we can actually have. Our size means flexibility — not corporate dispatch by algorithm.

03

Benefits You Choose

We use a Section 125 Cafeteria Plan — you get a benefits allowance and build your own package. Single driver? Take lean medical and keep more cash. Parent of three? Go heavy on family health and dependent care FSA. Your family, your call.

04

A Culture That Means It

No forced dispatch on family emergencies. Milestones recognized. Management that knows your name. We don’t have a ping-pong table. We have a culture built on the belief that a driver who feels respected stays — and performs.

How It Works

One Company. Two Driver Tracks.
Both 100% W-2.

Every Ironbound driver is a W-2 employee — not a contractor, not a lease-purchase trap. You get real benefits from day one. The track you're on determines who owns the truck.

Track 1 — Start Here

Company Truck Driver

  • You drive an Ironbound-owned truck
  • No truck payments — ever
  • Full W-2 benefits from day one
  • Regional dedicated lanes — home most nights
  • Equipment maintenance is on us
  • Eligible to move to Track 2 after 12–24 months
Earned Pathway

Track 2 — After You Prove It

Lease-to-Own Driver

  • Still a W-2 employee — full benefits stay
  • Lease payments applied toward truck ownership
  • Build real equity in a commercial asset
  • Same regional lanes and home-time protection
  • Transparent lease terms — no surprises
  • Own your truck outright at end of lease term

All drivers start on Track 1. Track 2 eligibility is earned through performance, tenure, and mutual agreement — not assumed or forced.
